I am a freelance artist, who loves to create and is not afraid of a good challenge. I am 23 years old and have been painting since I was a child. I have been painting professionally for the past 5 years and have received credits for my AA in Liberal Arts. I was in school to pursue Visual Arts, but than fell in love with designing.


My background in Visual Arts is as follows:

* Advanced Placement Visual Arts at Bartow High School.
* 3 years of college art classes : Drawing 1 & 2, Painting 1 & 2, Ceramics 1
   and Water colors 1.
* Polk Community College Annual Student Art show for 3 years.
* Polk Community College Winter Haven's Womens History Month Art Show.
* Paid artist at a local Paint-your-own-pottery studio, painted customized pieces for customers, and painted displays for the studio.
* 4 months of Graphic Design classes at Keiser University.

     As for my taste in art I would say that I have many influences. I love the loose lines of Matisse, the secrecy behind Vermeer's studies, the insanity behind Van Gogh's brush strokes and the use of vibrant colors that Alexandra Nechita uses in her art. In every piece that I create, I put a little piece of myself into it. I often like to put inspirational quotes or sayings on my pieces. I think it brings hope to the person who sees it. We are influenced by the things that surround us, why not surround ourselves with hope and beauty?
